Let's taco 'bout a new menu item: Magic Mushrooms

It's no secret that mushrooms are having a moment. We are excited to announce that we are now serving Beyond Magic Mushrooms, a "psilocybin-infused" option to give you just the right amount of shrooming experience you crave with every bite. 

Psilocybin, "a psychoactive compound found in some psychedelic species of fungi, has received a LOT of attention in recent years for its potential in treating mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It is prescribed for its healing and therapeutic properties." There are over 200 species of fungi that produce this "naturally occurring psychedelic"...and there is a growing demand to reclassify these 'shrooms'  for medical research and for mental health purposes. Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts have all recently filed for legalization - and last March, under the Entheogenic Plant and Fungus Policy Act of 2020, natural psychedelics including magic mushrooms were decriminalized in DC.

We've always prided ourselves on being an unconventional taco shop, and our newest menu option is no exception to that legacy. Best experienced with a group, so bring your friends.
