Let’s Taco ‘Bout Ten Years Ago 

Ten years ago, we set up Chaia in a 10’x10’ tent at the White House Freshfarm Market to inspire people to eat more vegetables for health and the environment. Our first menu was three tacos: Braised Mushroom, Creamy Kale and potato, and Roasted Butternut Squash. We called it the “Market Trio”. We made enough to serve 50 people and sold out before the market closed. We will never forget those early market days: excitement, nerves, and joy. 

THANK YOU to our customers and team for ten years of tacos! We still believe everything is better in a taco, and making the world a better place starts with the food we eat.
