Let's taco 'bout our menu

“Going green” starts with transparency. And with nothing to hide, we want our customers to know what is in our food, so we recently added a complete listing of our menu’s ingredients to our website. 

At Chaia, we serve real, whole, good-for-you food that is cooked from scratch. We source locally and organic as much as possible because our aim is to serve the freshest, in-season food for both top-quality flavors and to reduce our environmental impact. By sourcing from growers and producers closer to home, we are also fueling and supporting our regional economies and producing a much smaller carbon footprint. Some other steps we take to ensure sustainability include:

- partnering with local businesses with similar missions of sustainability and environmental responsibility

- minimal food waste in our kitchens

- no artificial ingredients

We also want our guests to feel safe from worry when they eat at Chaia. With food allergies prevalent, we want our guests to understand that all of our shops are nut-, soy-, and wheat/gluten-free - always. We keep processed foods off of our menu and nearly the entire menu can be eaten dairy- or egg-free. And, of course, we serve no meat, fish, or shellfish. Chaia has earned our customer's trust by being a safe place to eat for those with allergies.

Consumers have an appetite for knowing what ingredients are in their favorite brands, where their food comes from, and preferably to choose from businesses that have a positive impact on the environment.
