If you only order out one time this week, make it count. Back on our menu now is our MOROCCAN CARROT TACO with goat cheese, chipotle yogurt sauce & mint. This isn't just any roasting affair; it's a journey through the flavors of this North African country with just the right Chaia style and flair.
Picture a vibrant array of slender, rainbow carrots nestled on a well-worn sheet pan, eagerly awaiting their transformation. We first toss the carrots in extra-virgin olive oil with crushed coriander, cumin, and fresh garlic to embrace a few of the building blocks of Moroccan flavor. Then, we roast them in a hot oven and caramelize them to a beautiful brown while the inside stays sweet and tender. This creates a filling that is an ode to the warm sun and the flavors from this ancient country bordering the Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea.. We finish the taco with a tangy chèvre and a slightly spicy sauce to make every bite bright and delicious.
