Tomorrow is International Women's Day, and year's theme is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” which will “explore the impact of the digital gender gap on widening economic and social inequalities.” To us, this theme is a reminder of how closely interconnected gender equity is to almost every other global issue. Take sustainability and environmental health, which we think about all the time at Chaia. These goals are strongly linked to, and even dependent on achieving, gender diversity, equality and equity. And of course technological innovations are critical to helping solve our environmental crisis, so it’s common sense that gender equity would create significant synergies and outsized benefits across the board. This holistic view inspires how we run our own business, including:
